Kendrick School, established in 2003, is a selective girls' school with academy status, catering to students aged 11-18. The institution has specialized in Science, Mathematics, and Languages, with this focus extending to all subjects, including English, Arts, Humanities, Music, Drama, Computing, and Technology. Having achieved academy status in February 2011, Kendrick has consistently maintained high academic standards and is recognized as one of the top state schools in the country.
Proud of its outstanding reputation, Kendrick fosters an environment that encourages students to pursue knowledge and a love of learning within a secure and caring setting. The school strives to honor traditions while embracing modern teaching, learning, technology, management, and leadership approaches.

Having undergone five OFSTED inspections, Kendrick School has consistently received an "outstanding" rating. In the November 2022 inspection, OFSTED commended the school, stating, "Pupils and sixth formers are rightfully proud of their school community. They excel in their learning, and one parent's sentiment resonates widely: 'The school does a great job of creating well-rounded, kind, human beings who will hopefully go on to make the world a better place. The academic results are important, of course, but far from the only focus.' Inspectors wholeheartedly agree."

The Kendrick School 11 Plus examination comprises two papers developed by GL Assessment, encompassing the following subjects:

The 11 Plus Exam format for Kendrick Grammar School is devised by GL Assessment and is structured as follows:
Paper 1: A 55-minute English and Verbal Reasoning paper. The English section comprises a 5-minute practice session followed by a 25-minute test. The Verbal Reasoning section includes a 5-minute practice segment followed by a 20-minute test.
Paper 2: A 55-minute Mathematics and Non-Verbal Reasoning paper. The first section involves Non-verbal and spatial reasoning, consisting of 5 subtests lasting 5 minutes each. The second section is Mathematics and includes a 5-minute practice session followed by a 25-minute test.

Access to the results is provided online through the school website. To view the results, you'll need the Unique ID/User ID assigned during your daughter's test registration, along with the password you generated while completing the application form. It's essential to note that the results will only be accessible until December 31, 2023. We advise printing a copy for your records, as the school won't be able to provide this information after the specified date. Please be aware that results will not be sent via email or over the telephone.
